In the workshop, straight line quilting will frame the blocks, under the pockets.
From 5 shirts, you could make 4 pillows! So, at home, after workshop, plan to experiment with other quilting patterns and create more beautiful memory pillows.
What to bring to workshop:
Sewing machine with ¼” seam foot;

zipper foot, button foot, quilt guide, #11 or #12 Quilting needles Seam ripper, most important!
Matching threads, bobbin; Small scissors, Fabric cutting scissors, Chalk marker 3”x 12” ruler, Rotary cutter and small mat
Pins, quilt clips and any other notions you would normally quilt with Small iron, pressing mat, Best Press spray- or water
To complete the pillow – bring to workshop:
3 or more Men’s shirts – these will be the variety of fabrics shown 20”x 20” square quilt batting
2/3 yard fusible woven interfacing (SF101)
1 pkg pre-made piping, shown is navy 18”x 18” pillow form
